COOKERY CLASSES AT THE GEORGE

October saw the launch of our very first set of Cookery Classes and what a wonderful time was had by all!

With a different dish the focus each week, from the Tiv Trivandrum Curry to Hari’s Grandmother’s Appam & Vegetable Stew, each meal has a special meaning to our head chef Hari, which he divulges the details of while talking through the techniques required to finesse every element, with class attendees trying the dish at the end of the class.

At £35 per person, each class includes teas and coffees, the chance to try the dish and a recipe card to take home and try cooking the dish in person.

In November, the classes will move from Tuesday afternoons to Saturday mornings, taking place throughout the month from 10am-12pm, with the first class on November 5th with Hari’s Diwali Chicken Curry.

The celebration was a packed day filled with socialising with family and friends, watching TV programmes and celebrating this wonderful festival, they were truly the best times of his life.

This week, Hari and his team will be cooking with you and showing you how to cook this wonderful dish in his cookery class.
